Shooting Bike Week in Daytona for Easyriders is off to a great start. I started at the Iron Horse Saloon to hear David Alan Coe for one of his daily (free) concerts, Sandra D ride the wall (WOW - without Donnie this week!) and Ian climb the those 90 degree planks on the Indian for the first time in front of the crowd. Then a stop at Destination Daytona to watch Rhett Rotten ride his wall, always with a big heart & big smile, as Brittney Olsen promoted her antique events, Gloria Struck did a book signing and David Uhl painted away out front. Main Street was closed to cars (Yeah) over the weekend which makes the street more fun, and then it is always a treat to stop in to see Billy Lane prepping for the Big Son’s of Speed this Saturday (more than 35 racers this time!!!) with Moonshiner Josh Owens and Xavier helping where needed and master engine builders Steve Broyles and Berry Wardlaw digging into the heart of Billy’s 1911 Indian. I am off to the ACE Cafe in Orlando now to give my presentation and hope to see some of you there. Another fun stop was a Giuseppe’s Steel City Pizza in South Daytona where Sean got a lesson in making their Pittsburgh Delight.
