Another incredible Mooneyes Show in Yokohama. Its all about amazing bikes and great people. Like many others that came to this one day show from the USA, my eyes were just popping out of my head! I was torn between a number of favorites, but in the end, the "Lichter Award” I presented on stage went to Hide (pronounced Hee-Day), who also received the LowRide Italy award from editor Giuseppe Roncen. If I could have given a good feeling award, it would have gone to Matt Davis’ Shovelhead after I saw the "California” sticker on it as Dean Micetich was about to ride it in for Grand Entry in a celebration of Matt’s life. Others in this set of photos include Go Takamine of Brat Style who I am looking forward to photograph flat track racing on Wednesday about 2-hours outside of Tokyo, Bill Wall working on jewelry all the way from Malifu, Fabrizio Caoduro of ’70’s helmets, Natsuki Sakurai of Swallowtail Motorcycles in Kyushu, Bryan Thompson on his Triumph pulling famed skater Steve Steve Cabalirro and Big Scott of the Cycle Zombies. Best of Show went for the second year in a row, to Heiwa Motorcycles.
