Brad Richards
While Brad Richards’s title as Vice President of Design and Creative Director at Harley-Davidson Motor Company may suggest he sits behind a big desk in large corner corporate office, that would not be who Brad is. You’re more likely to see Brad out riding one of his customs or vintage bikes, or checking out the cool builds at a chopper show than behind a big desk. I first met Brad in 2013 when I invited him to be part of my 2013 Motorcycles as Art exhibition, Ton Up – Speed, Style, and Cafe Racer Culture. Brad may have been focused on trucks as a designer at Ford, but his cafe racer was spot on! Fast forward a decade, and Brad is at the helm of the design team at Harley, turning out incredible new bikes as we’ve seen with the Icons Collection of vintage-inspired bikes, the Pan-America family of bikes, and the ST series (which I can personally vouch for with my LowRider ST!) Brad is a great designer with his pulse on the culture, so we will surely see many more great bikes coming down the pike in the years to come.
