Danger Dan
I remember photographing Danger Dan for the first time late on the Saturday night in Charlotte, NC afer the 2018 Congregation Show had closed and the venue was emptying out. We’d never met, and I had no idea who he was, but I sure thought he looked like an interesting character. I wanted to photograph him as he was about to hop on an FXR sidehack rig he’d borrowed to ride back to Weatherford, TX. Little did I know how many times over the coming years our paths would cross and that we would become good friends. I’ve photographed him in Texas, Florida, New Mexico, California, Colorado, South Dakota, and perhaps our favorite joint adventure, riding with Motorcycle Sherpa for a couple of weeks through the Himalayas of Nepal.
